2012

Well we are all looking forward to a really exciting 2012!

We are busy getting ready for the start of the new season which begins in February, last year we visited a record 130 schools, nurseries, children’s centres and events and we are already on track to beat this in 2012.

This year we are moving the farm to a new location and James is spending every weekend building a  new barn for the animals, we are hoping to move early April and it has taken a while to get all the fencing and barn  built but all the hard work will be worth it in the end!!

All our visits are different  but wherever we go, the animals always get a fantastic response! Sometimes it will be the first time a child has ever touched a calf or lamb and it is lovely to be able to give this opportunity and teach children how important the animals  are within British Farming..

In addition to the schools we also went on some unusual visits last year including taking the pigs to the feed the 5K event in trafalgar square, that is one that I won’t forget!

We will have some new baby lambs and calves but also the children’s favourites; daisy and dafffodil the goats, mipsey, mopsey and mo the Kune Kune pigs and not forgetting Holly and Teasel the dogs which the children all love!

We are now fully booked for March and April (except Easter holidays)  but still have availability for May- July.
