Hi!

I just wanted to say a big thank you for bringing the animals to Whitfield last Friday. The children really enjoyed the experience and I have had very positive feedback from the Key Stage 1 teachers. For some of the children it was the first time that they had been in such close contact with farm animals and the chance to bottle feed them was a huge experience.

I wish you all the best with the mobile farm and I will be recommending you to colleagues at other schools.

Dear James and Abby- Thank you for such a fantastic day, we thought it would be good for KS1 children to meet the farm animals but we didn’t realise how exciting and inspiring the experience would be! The teachers all said how impressed they were with your preparation and age- appropriate way you responded to the children’s questions.

We also realised how easy and immediate the visit was, with no long coach journey, the children were able to go straight back to the classroom and record their experiences.

Thank you for providing such an inspirational experience! We have recommended you to the junior department so hope to see you at Beaver Green again soon!

Thank you very much for your visit. The children and adults, especially Mr Ratcliffe, enjoyed the opportunity to touch and feed the animals.

The experience covered so many different aspects of the children’s curriculum – the Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum.

It is very expensive to take children on a coach to visit the farm so the opportunity for the farm to come to them is fantastic.

A most enjoyable learning experience for all the children. They continue to talk about it.
